A covered platform

The federal TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. 119-12) requires "covered platforms" — websites hosting user-uploaded content available to the public — to provide a clear, conspicuous, easy-to-use process by which an identifiable individual (or someone authorized to act for them) can request removal of a nonconsensual intimate visual depiction of that individual. fetish.haus hosts Content uploaded by Creators, so we treat the Platform as a covered platform and have implemented the notice-and-removal mechanism in this policy. The obligation is live now and enforced by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (Section 9). You do not need a lawyer, a fee, or a Platform account to ask us to take down a depiction of yourself.

02

What this policy covers

This policy applies to a nonconsensual intimate visual depiction ("NCII depiction") of an identifiable individual: one that shows an identifiable individual engaged in sexually explicit conduct or shows their intimate body parts; was published without their consent, or created or disclosed in circumstances carrying a reasonable expectation of privacy; and is not a matter of legitimate public concern nor voluntarily exposed by the individual in a public or commercial setting.

It expressly covers real imagery — photographs, video, or audio-visual material actually depicting the requesting individual — and digital forgeries: AI-generated, synthetic, "deepfake," face-swapped, or otherwise digitally created or altered imagery made to appear, to a reasonable person, indistinguishable from an authentic intimate depiction, even though the depicted conduct never occurred.

Note on minors. Any intimate visual depiction of a minor is CSAM, handled under our zero-tolerance CSAM Policy — including mandatory NCMEC reporting, not merely removal. If your request involves a minor, please say so.

03

Who may request removal

The identifiable individual depicted — or an authorized representative acting on their behalf (a parent or legal guardian, an attorney, or another agent with authority). No account is needed and there is no charge. Representatives should identify the individual they represent and the basis of their authority.

04

How to submit a request

  • On-site report flow — use the "Report" control on or near Content (or the Report Content page) and select the nonconsensual / intimate-image-of-me reason. Generally fastest, since you can attach a direct link.
  • By email — [email protected] with the subject line "TAKE IT DOWN — NCII Removal Request."
  • Either method satisfies this policy. Unsure where to start? [email protected] will route your request to the right team.
05

What a valid request includes

We will not require more information than reasonably necessary to locate the depiction and verify the request, and sensitive material is handled per the Privacy Policy. If something needed is missing, we promptly tell you what, so you can complete the request — the 48-hour clock runs from receipt of a valid request.

  • Enough information to locate the depiction — a direct URL, clip identifier, Creator name, screenshot, or description sufficient to find the specific Content.
  • Identification of yourself as the depicted person (or of the individual you represent and your authority to act).
  • A good-faith statement that the depiction was published without consent — and, for AI-generated material, that it is a digital forgery you did not consent to.
  • A physical or electronic signature of the requesting individual or representative.
  • Contact information — an email address so we can acknowledge, clarify, and confirm completion.
06

Our 48-hour commitment

  • Removal within 48 hours of receiving a valid request — as soon as possible, and in any event within 48 hours. This standard is intentionally tighter than our general complaint timelines and controls for matters covered here.
  • De-duplication — reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies across the Platform, using content-matching and hashing. Because we operate review-then-publish with a prohibited-keyword filter, known copies can also be caught before going live.
  • Acknowledgment and confirmation — we confirm receipt, and confirm once the depiction and any known identical copies are down.
  • If a request is not covered (the imagery is not intimate, or authority is not shown), we tell you, explain where appropriate, and point you to the right process — DMCA for copyright, or the Complaints Policy.
  • We also act against the uploading account — warnings, payout holds, content removal, up to termination — under the Terms, AUP, and NCC Policy.
07

Good-faith removals

The Act provides that a covered platform which in good faith removes material identified as an NCII depiction is not liable for that removal, even if the material is later determined not to have been one. Consistent with that protection, we err on the side of removal, may disable access while evaluating a request, and our good-faith removal is not an admission of any fact or liability. If you believe your Content was removed in error, use the Appeals Policy.

FTC enforcement & records

Compliance with the TAKE IT DOWN Act's notice-and-removal requirements is enforced by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission; failure to reasonably comply may be treated as an unfair or deceptive practice under Section 5 of the FTC Act, with civil penalties. We maintain the mechanism, the 48-hour workflow, and the de-duplication and record-keeping practices described here to meet these obligations.

We keep internal records of removal requests and actions taken — to demonstrate compliance, identify known identical copies, and respond to repeated abuse. Personal information in your request is used only to process and verify it and to comply with law, and sensitive material is not retained longer than reasonably necessary.
